Basic Tuning Instructions for RGM carb.

Manual choke progressive REDLINE 300 RGM

Identify two adjusting screws a large thumb screw which is Idle Volume screw (fuel and air)

then 90 degrees to that as smaller reseted Idle trim screw (my personal terms) also fuel and air .

start motor it should idle at some speed, turn larger of the two screws in and or out to find
Best and smoothest idle (best idle speed typically) with best idle speed found trim for smoothest or finer idle quality using small trim screw.

Typically if you had to screw the larger screw out to get higher or best idle speed you will need to screw in the trim screw to smooth out / trim best and smoothest idle quality.
