This is a zero-resistance rotor for use with high-energy ignition systems like MSD, Mallory, etc. Stock rotors have a resistor in them that overheats and burns when running high-output ignition systems. This rotor has no resistor but rather has a fat solid contact. NOT intended as a stock replacement rotor.
