Performance part. If you have a 32/36 downdraft Weber carburetor you know that it opens progressively, that is, the second 36mm throttle plate opens later than the smaller 32mm throttle plate. The Sync-Link Kit locks the two throttle plates together so that they open in unison. Quicker throttle response and more low/mid-range power. This is a great budget upgrade short of going to a 38/38. Please be aware you'll need to adjust the jetting on your carb to compensate for the additional fuel.
