Datsun Z Turbo Engine Rebuild Kit

          This is the package of parts we use to build and engine that is reliable in the 400+ HP range….At the end of the parts list is the machine work and other internal mods needed to accompany this parts package to complete the engine…If your local machinist cannot do any of this we can do it for you…

Block and rotating assembly:

Always start with the F54 Turbo block…No exceptions….

JE Forged Pistons with wrist pins and JE rings                                        
FROM $895 per set depending on Options, upgrades, etc.Any bore size or compression ratio you want…
We recommend no larger than 88mm and not to exceed 8.5:1…8.1:1 is best overall Optional

Options: Items with * are recommended for Turbo, NOS, and High RPM Normally aspirated Endurance Racing use.

*Add $25 per piston for Total-Seal Gapless 2nd rings (Street and mild Race use)
*Add $38 per piston for Total-Seal Gapless Top rings (Endurance Road Race, Extreme Turbo and NOS Use.)
     Note: You do EITHER Gapless Top or Gapless 2nd. NOT Both.

This is a proprietary grind  developed by TEP specifically for use in Turbo engines making 350+ HP and 12+ psi boost…We offer it as a re-grind on your core or on an exchange basis with a core charge…We only do this cam on the Hollow gun drilled core for better oiling and longer life…We can also supply it new from a billet…

Flywheel and Clutch:

Only use the 240mm ZX Turbo or 2+2 flywheel…You need the extra surface area..)

Lighten stock flywheel..(Perfect combination of low weight and inertia)                               $150.00

            This is using your flywheel…We do not have any cores…

Flywheel must be pinned to crankshaft to keep it from walking back and forth..                    $120.00

These are always good to replace…Cheap insurance against the flywheel coming off and cutting your legs off….

240mm Pro-Grip Turbo Clutch assembly                                                                         $395.00

Front Crank Pulley:

This depends on what accessories you are using and what style of management system you are using….

We supply the following crank pulleys and can fabricate bolt-on crank triggers for TEC-2 system on any of them.

This is our favorite pulley…light and strong. Requires use of special bolt and washer set which is included in price listed.

Multi-Groove 280Z and 280ZX A/C and Power Steering pulleys                                           $145.00
