2002 Front View This is our 1975 BMW 2002. Featured in the December 1995 issue of European Car magazine. Almost everything we sell has been tested and used on this car. It has recently undergone a complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration. The Mitsubishi Blue and Porsche Silver paint scheme is striking- giving the car a longer, lower appearance- yet it still passes for a nicely restored stock 02. But looks can be deceiving. There is no area of the car's performance that has not been upgraded to the extreme. This car is capable of mid 13 sec. 1/4 mile times and sub 6 sec. 0-60 times.
2002 Engine Compartment 260 + h.p. Aerodyne VATN turbocharged, Spearco intercooled, Electromotive TEC-II programmable fuel injected, 92mm bore 2.1 engine. Forged JE pistons. Race prepared factory con rods. Ported e12 cylinder head. Tep 294 camshaft. Dual valve springs. Custom intercooler plumbing and air box. 320i aluminum and plastic radiator with thermostatically controlled Fiat electric cooling fan. All parts powder coated or nickel plated. All fabrication and machine work by Top-End Performance.
  Getrag 240 5-speed transmission. Tep short shifter kit. Tep pro-grip racing clutch. Rare euro 3.45:1 limited slip differential which gives the car a functional top speed of over 150mph.  
  4 corner coil-over suspension. Direct bolt-on rear adjustable shock coil-over conversion. Adjustable camber plates. Biltstein Sport front strut inserts. 22mm front bar with 17mm adjustable rear bar. Front and rear strut/shock braces. All urethane bushing front and rear.  
  10.25" front vented big brake kit. Rear solid disc conversion. All steel braided brake lines. 24mm disc brake master on stock booster.
  15 x 6 superlite wheels with Yokohama 195 / 5-15 AVS intermediates. Tep flex dam air dam. Shortened front bumper kit.
2002 Rear brace Rear shock tower brace and battery relocation kit is a great way to strengthen a notoriously weak area of the car as well as provide a safe way to stash the battery. You won't believe how much of a handling difference there is to getting all that weight off the left front corner- not to mention how much easier it is to change your oil!
